About Me

I work mainly with grief and loss, together with associated issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression and changes in identity.

The way in which each person grieves is unique, whilst it is a normal process, sometimes people struggle to adjust to their loss. Talking about grief can help with understanding the mourning process and adapt to a new sense of self.

I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the BPS (British Psychological Society).

I trained at Iron Mill College in Exeter as an Integrative Counsellor, have an enhanced DBS and am fully insured.

My qualifications include:

  • MA Counselling and Psychotherapy

  • BSc (Hons) Psychology

  • Advanced Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling

  • Professional Certificate in CBT

  • Cruse Bereavement Training

  • TA101

  • ASIST Suicide Intervention Training

  • STORM Suicide Prevention and Self-Harm Mitigation Training

  • Dissociation in Clinical Practice

  • Workshops covering Trauma, Compassion Focused Therapy, Attachment, Self-harm, Shame, working with Dissociative Identity Disorder, Infertility, Pregnancy and Baby Loss, Rumination.
